Depois Que Tudo Mudou (“After Everything Changed”) is a romantic comedy that follows the lives of three Black queer teenagers in Salvador, Bahia, in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic. The trio become friends and share conflicts, discoveries, passions, and adventures while listening to Ney’s tapes and learning about his story of love and struggle—mirroring their own journeys of love and the tools that can help them overcome both inner and outer battles. The series explores themes such as sexuality, friendship, identity, dreams, and the hope of rewriting one’s own story.
