CONNECTING DOTS is a multicultural agency dedicated to developing cultural projects and fostering international partnerships across music, film, and the arts. The agency acts as a bridge between Brazil and the world, using curatorship, content production, and strategic consulting to strengthen cultural exchange and global collaboration.

Recognized for its commitment to diversity, sustainability, and social impact, CNTDOTS works at the intersection of creativity and social purpose — expanding cultural dialogue and connecting artists, institutions, and audiences worldwide.

Its key initiatives include the creation of AMAJAZZON, the launch of WOMAD in Brazil, the Afro-Atlantic heritage project Marimba, and the feature documentary Amália Amada, produced in co-production with TV Cultura.

BELOVED AMÁLIA / AMÁLIA AMADA

Amália Amada is a documentary directed by Marcelo Machado, with authorship and artistic direction by Anabela Cunha, that reveals the profound relationship between Amália Rodrigues, Brazil and the world. Featuring narration and performances by young contemporary singers, draws on extensive international research across archives and collections, as well as personal Super-8 footage.
Amália is presented as a global artist, who lived between two dictatorships, whose influence transcended cultural borders, and whose voice is currently a candidate for UNESCO’s Memory of the World.
The finalization has the interest of prestigious international partners, including Fifty Fifty (UK), Halo (UK), LAVFX (UK/FR), and oscar winner Pietu Korhonen. The investment required for post-production it is €400,000.
