Maria is a cheerful girl who loves visiting her grandparents after school and on weekends. There, together with Lucas, the neighbor, and her stuffed dinosaur, Astolfo, she embarks on great adventures.
With each visit, Maria finds a riddle left by her grandfather, and to solve it, the three travel to different places.
During these journeys, her drawings come to life, revealing unexpected characters like a spooky gnome, a spaceship, or a funny porcupine—creations born from the trio’s imagination.
On their trips, they get into all sorts of trouble and uncover cultural curiosities, such as pink lakes, the origin of the Statue of Liberty, who the margherita pizza was created for, and whether pharaohs hid their hair.
