Founded by Larissa Barbosa and Ana Clara Martins, Moringa focuses on internationalization, strengthening dialogue with Latin America in particular.

The company produces feature films, shorts, and series. With a special interest in fantasy and drama, its projects stand out for their sensitive and authorial approach, valuing narratives tied to memory, territory, and connecting the local to the universal.

Moringa produced the short film “Outside is inhere”, a 2025 Grande Otelo finalist, which received multiple awards and screened at more than 20 festivals. The company is currently developing the feature “Oceânica”, which has participated in labs in Spain and Portugal, and is in post-production on the short “Armadillo”, selected for the BOGOSHORTS Incubator in Colombia and LNN (APAN).

SYNOPSIS: Jade (30) is a black singer reaching the peak of her career. However, strange memories, which are not hers, have been disturbing her. One day, during an important performance, after discovering a tape belonging to her grandfather, she suddenly loses her voice. She then decides to go to the man’s abandoned farm; there, Jade encounters the figure of an armadillo. She decides to follow it, and her encounter with the mystical animal brings her face to face with the regrets of her ancestors, but above all, with her own silences.
