Maria Micaela, an imaginative mind with a sensitive gaze, spends her days observing the surroundings of the Boa Viagem beach (Recife, Brazil) and writing down in her notebook everything others fail to notice or deem worthless. Around her, she builds a world of her own, one shaped by fantasy as a way to cope with loneliness and abandonment.
