Netas de Esméria Filmes

Netas de Esméria Filmes creates narratives that expand debates on gender, race, sexuality, and class through the meeting of rigorous research and writing committed to complexity and emotional depth. We develop projects from the first spark of an idea to the final script, always guided by deep investigation and conscious aesthetic choices. We signed the feature Sistermaids (2025), produced by Gato do Parque and co-produced by Netas alongside partner companies. The film premiered at Festival do Rio, where it won Best Actress, and screened at Mostra SP, receiving the Audience Award. We also offer consulting and training focused on feminist and anti-racist storytelling, trusting audiovisual work as a tool for transformation and intergenerational exchange as a source of stories that matter.
