Totó Parente
Secretary of Culture and Creative Economy for the City of São Paulo, he began his public career as a Special Advisor to the Governor of Mato Grosso (1987–1990) and later at the Federal Senate (1995–2000). He served as a City Councilor in Cuiabá (2000–2004), where he chaired the Committee on Economy and Finance and acted as rapporteur for the municipal budget. In 2007, he was appointed National Secretary for the Development of the Center-West Region and managed the Center-West Constitutional Fund. Totó also served as Director and Acting President of Embratur (2016), National Secretary for Tourism Infrastructure at the Ministry of Tourism (2017–2018), and, more recently, as Secretary for Institutional Articulation at the Ministry of Planning and Budget (2023).
