Gustavo Steinberg

Gustavo has worked in cinema since 1995 as an executive producer, producer, screenwriter and director. He has produced six feature films, having also written four and directed two of them. His last feature film as director and screenwriter, the animated feature Tito and the Birds, was qualified for an Oscar for best animated film and nominated for an Annie, winning 10 awards for best animated film (including Chicago, Anima Mundi, Havana, Seattle, Lisbon and Grande Prêmio Brasil de Cinema), and selected by more than 100 festivals around the world, including TIFF and Annecy. His other films have won awards such as Best Film at the Tribeca Festival (New York), Best Documentary Opera Prima at the Latin American Festival in Los Angeles, Digital Award at the 60th Venice Film Festival, Official Selection at the 37th New York Film Festival, among many others.
