Founded in 1985, Sato Company is a pioneer in distribution and a reference in asian content, such as Anime and Tokusatsu, with a portfolio featuring critically and publicly acclaimed Asian content such as Akira, Ghost in the Shell, National Kid, Ultraman, Jaspion, Jiraiya, among many others. Its constant innovation today translates into production and distribution for cinema, television, and OTT (SVOD/TVOD/AVOD). It also operates as a content aggregator and in product licensing.
In 2024, it was responsible for bringing the Oscar-winning films ‘Godzilla Minus One’ and ‘The Boy and the Heron’ to Brazil and the GHIBLI FEST in 2025.
