Local Films
@ Unlock 2025 (In-person & online)
local films was founded in 2000 by Nicolas Brevière. The company company based in Paris has produced around 120 films (including shorts, features and TV documentaries), which have been selected and screened in a large number of international film festivals around the world or aired in France and abroad. Recent examples include "A German Youth" by Jean-Gabriel Périot (Berlin), "Azor" by Andreas Fontana (Berlinale, San Sebastian ) or "Angry Annie" by Blandine Lenoir (Locarno)... The mission of local films has remained unchanged from inception: to foster, reveal and promote emerging art-house talents. International coproductions also represent an increasing part of our line-up; with projects such as "Summer Lights" with Japan, “Room Temperature” with the USA or “Hombres Integros” with Mexico
