Maurício Mota

Mauricio Mota is an entrepreneur with 30 years of experience in the areas of Soft Power, Entertainment, Education, Media, and Social Impact, based in Los Angeles. He produced Netflix’s feature film Rez Ball alongside LeBron James. He co-founded Ashé Ventures in partnership with Viola Davis and Julius Tennon. He was an executive producer of East Los High, a series that received six Emmy nominations during its run on Hulu and was sold to 37 countries. He began his career at age 15 by creating board games that reached more than 5,000 schools. After that, he became a pioneer in multiplatform content, creating books, games, and content for TV networks, record labels, film studios, and global brands. He was the first Latin American to speak at MIT’s Futures of Entertainment conference.
