Ale McHaddo
Ale McHaddo is a film and animation director, screenwriter, and producer. She is the CEO, founder, and partner at 44 Toons. Her career began in 1996 with the launch of the adventure game The Sphinx Enigma, where she worked as both Game Designer and Film Director. Since then, she has created animated series that have aired in multiple territories, including Newbie and the disasternauts (the first Brazilian series sold to an American network – Starz) and Osmar, the First Slice of Bread (winner of the MIPJunior Kids’ Jury Pilot Award). McHaddo’s first animated feature film, GadgetGang in Outer Space, was released in 2017. That same year, she made her debut in live-action directing with the comedy Love is a Hard Work, followed by Just Short to Perfection and A Vampire in the Family.
