Fernando Fraiha

Fernando Fraiha is a director, writer, and producer, and co-founder of Biônica Filmes. His feature films include La Vingança (2016), Welcome, Violeta! (2022), adapted from Daniel Galera’s novel Cordilheira, and Chuck Billy and the Marvelous Guava Tree (2025), which drew over 1 million viewers. On television, he co-directed and co-wrote Netflix’s Nobody’s Looking, winner of the 2020 International Emmy Award for Best Comedy. A member of TV QUASE, he directs and writes for the acclaimed series Choque de Cultura. As a producer, Fraiha’s credits include award-winning films such as Toll by Carolina Markowicz and The Best Mother in the World by Anna Muylaert.
